The Let the Children Play Benefit Concert is more than just a concert—it’s a community celebration with a purpose. Every ticket sold helps raise funds for a new inclusive special needs playground in Walton County, creating a place where children of all abilities can play, learn, and grow together.

This exciting event is made possible through a partnership between Hands of Hope Walton County Exceptional Needs Support Group, Music for Charity, and the Walton Adapted Sports Program (WASP).

Kickin Edgar

Kickin’ Edgar is a popular party and 80s rock cover band based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Formed in 1989 by four fraternity brothers attending Georgia State University, the group has been playing high-energy shows together for over 35 years. While primarily known for covering artists like AC/DC, Billy Idol, Prince, and Paula Abdul, they have also released several albums of original Southern rock, blues, and country music.

Double on the Roxx

is an Atlanta-area classic rock, pop, and dance cover band known for delivering high-energy, nostalgic live performances. The band thrives on crowd interaction and filling up dance floors with a vast catalog of timeless party hits.

The Retro Brothers

The Retro Brothers (also known as The Retro Brothers Band) is a live cover band based out of Cartersville, Georgia, known for performing classic rock, Motown, and yacht rock hits.

Keenan’s Story

Keenan Arness Freeman
August 5, 2005 – March 6, 2018

Keenan and his family are a part of the Hands of Hope Family. Keenan suffered from a debilitating illness that led to him losing his ability to walk and participate in all the fun activities that he once loved. Keenan loved to dance, laugh, and dress up in costumes. Students and teacher both loved and adored his strength. Keenan was a 6th grade student at Carver Middle School and participated in numerous camps and organizations such as the Special Olympics, Hands of Hope, ESP Summer Camp and the Stone Soup Camps. Keenan Freeman and many others in the community have been the inspiration and the motivation behind bringing an inclusive park to this area. Keenan was a sweet young man who passed away at the young age of 12 before we completed our project. We are heartbroken that he will not get to see our completed inclusive park, but we continue moving forward because of him.
